    Osteopaths believe everyone can benefit from a tailored, whole-person approach to health.

    From supporting mothers, helping to keep you active and mobile for longer, aiding recovery from muscle and joint injuries, or contributing to the management of chronic long-term conditions, we aim to take the time to help you keep healthy using expert hands-on treatment, exercise, and health advice.

    As a highly trained healthcare professional, I take the time to understand your individual history, circumstances and unique physiology to provide you with a personalised plan to get you as healthy as you can be.

  • We do accept some private health insurance companies. Please contact the clinic for details.

  • You can be referred by your doctor but it isn’t necessary; you can simply refer yourself.

  • Generally yes, we can see patients awaiting surgery or post operative. However, as each case is individual depending on the type of surgery, condition or time to or since operation. It is best to check with us or your consultant or GP prior to any appointment. We will also be happy to liaise with them to insure your treatment is both safe and effective when necessary.

  • Osteopaths are trained in the application of spinal and joint manipulation and treat the body as a whole, holistically with a hands on approach.

    Osteopaths study for 4 years full time. In England Osteopathy is recognised as an Allied Health Profession and is working towards gaining recognition in Wales.

    This differs from Chiropractic methods which, whilst they stem from osteopathy, are generally considered more focused on the spine. The other common manual therapy, Physiotherapy, focuses on an exercised based patient management and can be accessed within the NHS.

  • Around 1 hour for new patients and 30 minutes for returning patients.

  • Yes, unless your medical condition prevents treatment for safety then you can expect to receive treatment on your first visit.

  • You may be asked to dress down for treatment in order for diagnosis and treatment, appropriate underwear should be worn or you could bring a towel for coverage. You may bring a chaperone if you wish and if you have any concerns at all please do ask.

  • Card or Cash.

  • Parking is free and adjacent to the clinic.

  • If you have work or home commitments that fall outside of the clinic opening times please call and we will do our best to accommodate your requirements.

  • We can provide home visits whether due to injury or mobility issues. These are charged at a higher rate to take into account travel times, equipment and disruption to the clinic.
